Chinese Frogs Croak Guitar Sounds (Video)
High up in the mountains of Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality lives a frog who’s croaks sound like a guitar string being plucked, so a chorus of frogs creates a beautiful melody.
These rare frogs live in a pond at an elevation of more than 5,000 feet near a village known as Gaolugai on the outskirts of Chongqing.
The frog is about 2 inches long, with a flat head, smooth brown and gray skin. They are classified as hylarana daunchina, having similar physiological features and life habits as them, according to the wildlife and Plant Protection Station of the Qianjiang District Forest Bureau.
But they croak like no other frogs.
