Sarah Atwell isn’t like other girls. She has endured vicious torture since she was a little girl, just because she was born with a condition known as neurofibromatosis. It’s a rare disease that resulted in a tumor that grew on her face, causing her to be ridiculed by her peers. But, after years of abuse, she had enough. She bravely stood up to the bullies that made her life a living hell.

Sarah’s tumor has made her the target of vicious bullying for years. It was so bad, she made a video documenting her experience fending off the cruel bullies.

She originally posted her video to Facebook.

Then, the Discovery channel discovered her touching story.

They are going to air a special on Discovery Fit & Health highlighting her journey and the abuse she has had to face.

The teenager wrote out her story on notecards, confessing everything she had to endure in her life.

“Maybe one day the bullying will stop, but until then I’m going to be STRONG.”

Her story and the video she made is even going to be aired on television. It is so moving, endless people want to support her cause.

Sarah has been bullied since she was young, with her classmates calling her “fat face” or “ugly.”

She just wants people to know that there is nothing wrong with her. She is like everyone else, she just looks different.

Sarah hoped the bullying will stop, but the brave teen knows that until that day, she will have to be strong. Since she created the video, she underwent a surgery that removed a huge portion of the tumor from her face. She is a new woman, brave enough to face her former tormentors.

She hopes that one day she can work with kids and teach them to stand up to bullies. She’s unsure if the tumor will return, but she is happy that her story got out when it did.
